Santos watch, MM, Caliber 1847 MC automatic mechanical movement manufacture. Steel case, steel bezel set with 206 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.64 ct). Heptagonal crown with faceted synthetic spinel, gradient blue dial, steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Steel bracelet with "SmartLink" size adjustment system. Second bracelet in alligator with steel interchangeable deployant buckle. Both bracelets (straps) with "QuickSwitch" interchangeability system. Case width: 35.1 mm, thickness: 8.83 mm. Water resistant to 10 bar (approx. 100 m).

Collection Introduction

The famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont wanted to be able to tell the time while flying. And in 1904, Louis Cartier made his wish come true. The friendship between these two pioneers led to the creation of the world's first wristwatch. With its rounded dial, harmoniously curved lugs and screw motif accents, this design became an icon of Cartier watches and was later spawned in many variations.
